Analytical method for the determination of Hg from the organs of some terrestrial plants using cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry

The aim of the study was to develop a new method for mercury determination from plants grown on mercury-polluted soils as well evaluate mobility and bioavailability in soil its transfer different plant organs (root, stem, leaves) three plants, such mustard (Sinapis alba), thyme (Thymus serpyllum) wild thyme. A cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry (CV-AAS) detection developed. developed validated laboratory verified using two certified reference materials (CRMs) type matrices, namely: NIST 1515 Apple Leaves BCR-482 Lichen.
